Dungeons and Dragons

My first Dungeons and Dragons book has a new home today 🙂 It will forever be one of the cornerstones that launched me into geek land. It has been with me since elementary school.
I smuggled it into my classrooms. I studied it when I wasn’t even playing the game. I made up fantasy battles and stories in my daydreams. The hand drawn art was captivating. The awesome illustrations inspired my own artwork.

Family Quests

Many decades later, my oldest daughters became acquainted with this book. During off days from our D&D adventures, my family would sometimes look through this book trying to determine what creatures they had just encountered or what the clues I left for them might turn out to be. This would help prepare them for future battles as they could gain insights on the strengths and weaknesses of their foes.

Passing the Torch

It is time to get it circulating again in a new realm of campaigns and creativity. Today my book has a new home. It has moved on to someone else in the 7Shadows Tribe.
This is one of the most treasured gifts my Mom ever gave me. Thank you Mom for letting your baby boy’s geek brain grow. While it breaks my heart to part with it, I know it is now in the hands of someone else that is a steward of geekery.

Get ’em While I Got ’em

I have more of my classic AD&D books up here at the shop for fans of old school quests. Happy adventuring. May your battles be heroic. May your treasures be overflowing.

Keep on geekin’ on my friends.
